... a computer consultancy

The tip...

Never plagiarize without recognition (unless you think you can get a way with it).  Who knows how many of you listen to Benjamin Dover on Sunday mornings on KFI? So I have to thank him for this idea.  Who would ever think I would thank a lawyer for a computer-related suggestion?

While all of the virus detection programs have gotten better and more reliable over the last year or so, it is still a good idea is to manually update your virus definitions every morning (or however often it is you check) before opening your email.

Here's an idea for the lawyers.  How about a class action suit against one of more of these virus writers?  What do you imagine the world-wide cost of one virus is?  Several billion dollars?  Might start these (expletive deleted) thinking about the financial ruin they face for letting one of these things go.
